Re-Evaluating Relationships this Spring

It feels like Spring took just about forever to get here, but I feel confident in saying that is finally, fully, completely here! The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and I’ve come out of my winter hibernation ready to take on the world!

Ok, so I may be a little crazy about Spring, but I’m a firm believer in following the seasons and natural progressions of each month. I, like most people, associate April and May with Spring cleaning. I am one of those crazy people that actually enjoy cleaning— I’ll blame it on my Virgo sun! I’ll take any excuse I get to rearrange my bedroom, color code my wardrobe, or clean all my make-up brushes.

This Spring, however, I think we should take spring cleaning to the next level. Instead of focusing on elevating and simplifying the physical space around you, why don’t we also take a look at the relationships and habits surrounding us? While you may be ready to garden tools and pull out the weeds and trim the dead branches, have you thought about doing the same in your social and emotional life? Now is the time to evaluate your relationships and lifestyles, and to trim away those behaviors or people that are not in alignment with your current goals and aspirations.
